Welcome to Volume 4 of The Monday Sessions where I present live sets recorded at my weekly 5 hour x 45s gig on a floating pontoon attached to the bank of the Yarra River in the heart of Melbourne, Australia.
I see this gig as an opportunity to share my collection that spans funk, soul, jazz, reggae, boogie, hip hop and anything else I feel like playing.
It's like a history lesson, concentrating on breaks and the sounds that made up the hip hop sounds I loved growing up and introduced me to digging and searching for those original sample records.
