The Man From Tanganyika is a bit of a spiritual journey for me, a trip into Africa through the music of John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Max Roach and Dexter Gordon.
What links all these tracks are the titles (with a reference to African themes) and the search for a meaning out of those musical links back to Africa and the fact that most of these tracks are from the Blue Note catalogue and/or from artists that recorded with Blue Note at one time or another.
These tracks are all taken from Vinyl (with pops included).
