I love Soul music in all it's forms, from Motown to Northern Soul, to crossover and dance floor bangers but I have a real soft spot for deep and slow Soul, made and sang with deep passion about love that has gone, about the trials and tribulations of life and that is from the heart.
I'm no purist and buy what I like and that hits me in deep in my own Soul.
This is a mix recorded live at Hawker Hall in Melbourne on 8 May 2019 and features some of my most favourite Soul 45s, both classic and contemporary.
I play at Hawker Hall every second Wednesday from 6 - 10pm and always open with Soul.
