Welcome to 'Sonic Explorations', this is Part 2 of a live dj set of mine recorded at Belleville in Melbourne on February 10, 2016 for the 'Sonic Expedition' series of Wednesday night events.
If you've listened to https://www.mixcloud.com/MrLob/the-sonic-sessions-part-1/ you'll know that in the first part of my set I covered more Jazzy, Afro infused and Hip Hop sounds.
For this session I continue with the Afro vibe before moving into a more upbeat Roots Reggae feel but truthfully this part of my mix stands up by itself and can and should be listened to with Part 1 or in isolation, either way the music is killer!
