Welcome to Volume 2 of my mix series 'Plates From The Crates'.
This series is about digging deep in my vinyl collection. It’s all about my guilty pleasures, favorite records, records that hold memories and that I inherited from my mum, uncool records and country folk records.
This series is not about mixing the latest sounds and trying to be cool. The records pop, crackle and hiss but tell a story about my life and the music that I have heard, collected and enjoyed and that brings back great memories of travels, lost friends, house parties, university, my younger years, listening to music in my mum's kitchen and on my dad's truck radio.
Each volume will be different as I dig into other sections of my vinyl collection and bring you some of my most favourite uncool records. I hope you can bear it.
Prepare to sing along or perhaps wince at my poor taste and release your inner hippie.
