SPQR is beautiful little wood fired pizzeria in Melbourne, managed by my good friend https://www.mixcloud.com/TomShowtime/.
I dj there every Thursday night from 6pm - 9pm and I play 45s only with no specific genre to stick to.
Each week I try to change it up, so one week it might be Afrobeat, Ethio and Afro sounds with some Latin and Brazilian, another week it'll be Reggae, Lovers Rock, Rocksteady and Ska, then perhaps all Soul, or all Funk.
This session is all Soul and Funk 45s.
