Mutually admiring each others Mixcloud channels, DJ Mr Lob and http://www.mixcloud.com/soulpreachernight/ introduce their first collaboration: Funk music recorded in their “neck of the woods”. For DJ Mr Lob this is Melbourne, Australia and for The Soul Preacher this is Bonn, Germany. Thanks to gravity their feet are closer together than their heads as they are right on opposite sides of the globe. So this collaboration is from two people who are musically close together and geographically almost as far away as possible.
So the first 13 Australian songs were selected by DJ Mr Lob and from track 14 to 26 you’ll hear The Soul Preacher's choices, performed by German artists or produced on German labels.
