Firstly, being able to even Dj again after 8 months of no work and the pandemic restrictions sending my city into a long and tough lockdown, is an honour and privilege.
Secondly, after being told that I was no longer required at my previous residencies after a successful 7 year run, left me feeling down and out and not sure what to do but I knew I still wanted to play and had the hunger.
Then out of nowhere this gig came along at one of Melbourne's finest venues, a floating pontoon on the Yarra River in the middle of the city.
It's an amazing location and venue.
