Recorded live at The Brunswick Mess Hall in Melbourne, Australia on Fri 7 June 2013. This is Part 1 of a 5 hour set. The Brunswick Mess Hall is a huge old hall that has been converted into a restaurant and bar that holds about 250 people. This part of the set is basically from 8 - 10pm while people are arriving, having their first drinks, ordering dinner, eating and preparing for a big night out. I like to start off mellow and jazzy but always funky. It's a fantastic venue to be in and play and the food and drinks are delicious.
