Recorded live on 24 May 2019 at my weekly Friday Gogo Bar set, this is Part 1 of an all 45s mix that spans Latin, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Boogie and Hip Hop.
It gives you a great idea of the vibe that I go for and set every Friday.
My aim is to keep the vibe funky, eclectic and soulful.
It's a restaurant bar so no dance floor but the music is front and centre and played loudly.
The flow is good with a few mistakes here and there as I get distracted with people talking to me, asking me track names and tracks skipping here and there, but hey this is the joy of vinyl play and for me that is perfectly ok.
All in all though this is one funky session.
