HI All, welcome to my 2 hour all 45s vinyl mix for International Jazz Day 2021!!
This mix was part of a 24 hour uninterrupted Jazz broadcast on nessradio.com that went live on 30 April 2021 featuring 12 Djs, so I was was honoured to be invited to do it amongst such amazing luminaries and Jazz connoisseurs.
I love Jazz but am no expert and I just play what I like in the order that I like and based on my mood when I play. Because I'm no expert I mix many Jazz styles together in this mix, so at times there will be a Funky Jazz track, followed by a Soul Jazz track, followed by a Spiritual sounding track and then something that is inspired by Afro sounds, I just throw them all together in one live non stop 2 hour session, all from my 7" vinyl jazz collection.
