Recorded Live on 5 June 2019 at Hawker Hall in Melbourne, Australia this is Part 2 of a dinner time set on a Wednesday from 6 - 10pm that I play fortnightly.
I like to use these sets to stretch out, build a mood that starts slow and soulful and slowly work my way up from Soul into some Funk.
In the 2nd hour of my live set presented here, I move from Soul into Funk and JazzFunk while keeping the mood Soulful.
I don't plan these sets and I don't worry about beat matching but blending and flowing and playing whatever comes to mind as I dig through my record bags.
This is an all vinyl set and spans LPs, 45s, Compilations and 12" Records.
I will present the set in 3 x 1 Hour mixes, so join the ride and stay for the glide...
