Well it's been a very long while since I put out a Latin music mix and it's probably been even longer since I've been asked to come and dj at a Latin party. As you can imagine I was pretty happy to be invited to play this music again.
This recording is Part 1 of a live set I played at The Penny Black in their Beer Garden on Sunday 1 November 2015.
Overall it's a pretty funky affair, straddling Latin Breaks, Brazilian Grooves, Boogaloo and touching on Cumbia and other South American music traditions.
