For me B3NBi's music defies description but what you do hear are elements of Blues, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Trip Hop and Electronic Fuzz, but all in all what you hear is the mind and soul of B3NBi and to me that is more than enough.
I came across B3NBi's music as part of The Jazz Jousters on the Millennium Jazz Label in London and for some reason it took me awhile to put this set together as B3NBi's music is just so diverse, at times funky, at times broken up and at others pure melodic jazz. I wasn't sure how to put it together or even if I had the talent as a dj to mix it all together live (like I do with all my mixes). It took repeated listens of 4 of B3NBi's albums (he has 6 albums that I know of) plus his Jazz Jousters productions to get a handle on what I wanted to do.
