As many of you know I am an avid collector and listener of Jazz, especially Blue Note releases and even more exciting for me is when I find Jazz on 45 both new and old releases.
This mix is heavily inspired by the Jazz excursions on 45 by Toni Rese (https://www.mixcloud.com/ferrarese3/).
His recent all 'Hammond' mix for The Forty Five Kings is absolute fire and this inspired me to look into my collection of Jazz 45s, to flip them over to the B Side and look for those funky hammond and big drum grooves and this is the result.
Featuring releases on Blue Note, Groove Merchant, Amy, Coronet, Remined Records, Jazz 45, Battle, New Look In Jazz Records, Brunswick, AOTN, Columbia, and Shawn.
