Based in Melbourne, Mortisville has been one of the driving
forces behind the growth of electro swing in Australia. Having
promoted nights in Melbourne for the last 5 years, he now coruns
the hugely successful Electro Swing Club Australia,
which regularly sells out to over 1000 people and has hosted
artists such as Electric Swing Circus, Slamboree
Soundsystem, Grant Lazlo, Incontrol, Dr Cat and
Electronic Swing Orchestra.
As a DJ and producer, Mortisville has played across Australia
at countless festivals, including Rainbow Serpent, Maitreya,
Strawberry Fields, and Subsonic, as well as in the UK, at
Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown and Goulash
Disco in Croatia. He also has a number of successful releases
under his belt, having worked with Grant Lazlo, Incontrol,
Ragtime Records, Green Queen Music and many more.
