DJ Moneyshot - The New Recruit (2009)

In the first week of January 2009 I was officially inducted into Ninja Tune's Solid Steel radio family after a few years of bombarding them with world-beating mixes, which they duly aired and basked in the glow of. As part of that celebration I made this mix for them to pump out. Trying hard to show off I thought I'd chuck some Haircut 100 in there with some Smiths, Gunshot and Renegade Soundwave. I might have been living in Australia at the time, as I put some Bliss N Eso in there. Oz rap rules!
