MixTape revolves around music and nostalgia - the idea being that the music we experience at a young age will influence our musical taste later in life. The interesting question is who brings the music into our lives, how, and where our musical biographies take us.
Special guests essentially have free reign with the music played on the show – it becomes almost a biographical exploration, using music as a starting point for lovely little anecdotes and general hilarity.
