RSTRCTD artist of the first hour, Leslie Jones started his musical career as a singer/mc in a cover band.
While Electronic Dance Music (EDM) started to grow more and more fame, he did not hesitate to embrace it.
Reintroduced with his love for turntabels and vinyl, Leslie Jones thought about the RSTRCTD concept together with partner in crime James Dan.
It was quickly after this introduction that the duo went to record their first back 2 back DJset, called “Restricted Sessions – Private Minimal”.
Through a progressive house stint called Progressive Education, which consisted of 4 epic progressive house episodes, Leslie Jones came back to his love and natural habit for selecting prime deep house/tech house and techno tunes that can be found on the Restricted Sessions podcasts.
Notable gigs:
- TrenteMøller at Heroes of Techno, P60 Amstelveen 2010
- MIDI Fight Club, held at Tresor, Berlin in 2010
- Simply at the Keys party, Boat party at Key West Florida through webcast in 2011.
