I’m Lady Guvnor, Norf London through and through. I grew up on 90s R&B, hip-hop, garage and the kind of tunes that make a whole room sing, but I’m not interested in staying in one era or one lane.
I like bass you can feel, familiar tracks flipped in unexpected ways, global sounds, proper house energy and those moments in a set where you suddenly realise everyone’s with you.
“Grown feminine energy” is probably the best way to describe what I’m building: confident, joyful, a little nostalgic and made for women who actually came to dance.
This is where I’m keeping the sets I play out, the ones I make after the night is over, and whatever I’m exploring next.
