“The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers”, and “The Return of the King” were read, and dramatized by Phil Dragash and can be heard here:
This is a fan-created full-scale dramatized production of 'The Lord of The Rings' in audio form. Incorporating all the music by Howard Shore, and sound design and intricate foley work combined with dramatic delivery of the voices to invent what has never been done before.
This Audiobook incorporates techniques rarely at- tempted for audio-dramas: Sounds for every footstep, for every rustle of the trees, every environment each character enters into is pains- takingly engineered to make the listener feel like they are a part of the journey. The same attention to detail Tolkien had when writ- ing his incredible story is attempted here but in audio form true to the films’ staggering sense of reality.
