KINO-Radio is a radio show that puts the brakes on, slow things down on everything cinema-related. Covering films from The Maltese Falcon to A Quiet Place, the show is never watered down and always razor sharp. We wrestle with questions regularly asked about films, going beyond wry observations to an acute examination of the particular stylistic qualities that define the work of individual directors and determine the meaning of individual films.
The radio show is presented in a lucid and lively style and will welcome a host of personnel: from active directors to cinematographers; from film critiques to film buffs.
Produced by Radio Beirut, the show is the brainchild and passion project of Ali Jaber, who research, write, and host each episode.
Listen to the show's episodes live every friday from 5-6:30 (Beirut time) via its home on the Radio Beirut mobile app (iOS and Android free download).
