Raggo Zulu Rebel is a creative vessel for a conscious message, with 20 years of songwriting and performing experience at hand. Recording artist with extraordinary story telling abilities, he adopted the moniker "Jah Messenger”, which is also the title of his debut album, released in 2007. The title of "Jah Messenger” comes from the acceptance of the responsibility - inherited from the musical messengers like Luciano, Capelton, Anthony B, Sizzla - to spread messages of cultural value and worth, self awareness, empowerment, upliftment, sufferation & social injustice amongst people of all generations who didn’t seem to have much direction or guidance at the time.
