The term "future House" was introduced by French DJ Tchami. He first used it to describe his 2013 remix of Janet Jackson's "Go Deep" on SoundCloud. In a 2015 interview, Tchami explained that "future house" was intended to signify any house music that hadn't yet been invented, rather than defining it as a genre.
