"By day I’m a barber — making people look fresh. By night, I’m a DJ — making people forget how they look. I’ve been in the rave scene since 1988 — back when glowsticks were cutting-edge technology and mobile phones weighed more than a subwoofer. Started DJ’ing in ’91, all thanks to my undying love for music… and the fact that I couldn’t dance to save my life. Over the years, I’ve been involved in everything — from pirate radio to dodgy warehouse raves that probably broke at least five health and safety laws. Then came the kids… and like every good parent, I swapped vinyl for vacuuming and decks for Disney+. Fast-forward 18 years — lockdown hit, boredom struck, and I thought, ‘Why not dust off the decks?’ One spin later, and boom — I fell back in love with it. Turns out, the only thing I mix better than fades at the barbershop are beats at 140 BPM."
