DJ Audioptic, also known as Donald Quintana, is the mastermind behind the mesmerizing radio show 'Stationary Trip,' where trip hop and downtempo music come alive. Starting his DJ journey at the age of 10, he was captivated by the art of scratching after hearing Grand Master Flash. The mixmasters from 1580 KDAY and Dr. Dre’s Rodium swapmeet mixtapes further fueled his passion for DJing.
Everything changed when he first heard "Sour Times" by Portishead on KROQ, sparking a profound love for trip hop. He has honed his skills to deliver creative mixes and turntablist flair, taking listeners on a sonic journey through trip hop classics, rare tracks, and live remixes.
His show airs on the last Sunday of every month at 1 pm Pacific, offering an hour-long escape into a world of captivating sounds. Tune in to 'Stationary Trip' and let DJ Audioptic guide you through a musical experience like no other.
