Dave Anderson enjoys music of many genres & has a keen interest in the music history of Rochester, New York & surrounding regions of Upstate & Western, New York. Dave hosts a Live Radio Show..."Rockin' Rochester!" on WAYO FM 104.3 every Thursday at 9:00 - 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time. The show has a strong focus on Rochester & regional music, but also showcases other artists & music scenes from around the world.
Dave has an interesting perspective on music as he has worked most of his life as a sound recordist & music producer. He also enjoys working on his own music projects & collaborates both locally & abroad with his musical cohorts.
Fond of the obscure, Dave considers himself a champion of the underdog & realizes that there is lots of great music that never gets heard. Well after many years of working down where the rubber meets the road, Dave wants to share music from his collection & he's always searching the globe for cool songs to share!
