Journeys in a World of Music
After a lifetime teaching across cultures and continents, I’m still exploring how people and ideas connect. These days, music is my medium, curation my toolkit, and DaddyPeet my persona.
DaddyPeetExpresso (DPE) began as a bi-weekly show on the now-defunct RadioMoka and has grown into more than 270 musical sets. Each is a carefully crafted listening experience, built around a theme, a feeling or a question. Less playlist, more comfy audio quilt.
My compass has few limits. Blues, jazz, folk traditions, trip-hop, electronic soundscapes, global rhythms, and contemporary discoveries all have a place here. I’ve played blues harp in bands, shared musical moments with remarkable artists, and spent a lifetime exploring sounds.
Now living on the island of Bohol, I continue to explore music as a way of understanding the world and ourselves.
