DJ Klipz

“A good song is a good song regardless of the genre” – That’s what this DJ from Wellington City believes (now located in Auckland City), mashing everything including Electro, Hip Hop, Dubstep, D’n'B, Old School or House! With the roots of his DJ career being Hip Hop/R&B, Klipz has always been making mixtapes, including the “Total Eklipz” (2008) which received a 4/5 stars rating in Back2Basics and was made of 100% Wellington City Hip Hop.

Still keeping his Hip Hop/R&B influence on the turntables, you see alot of chasing, cuts & scratching added to the smoothly blended mixing.

Klipz has opened and supported some of the World’s Top Acts including Dizzee Rascal, The Game, Bare Noize, Snoop Dogg, Borgore, Ice Cube, Lloyd Banks, Bone Thugs & DJ Rectangle. And also NZ greats Smashproof, Scribe, Aural Trash, P-Money, DJ Sir-Vere, Justin Sane, Sample Gee & lots more.
