Tokyo-based DJ BAO has been behind the decks since 16, performing across Japan’s club scene and major stages including Yokohama Arena, Club Citta Kawasaki, Shinkiba Studio Coast Ageha and A10.
Rooted in hip-hop and open-format DJing, BAO is known for his instinctive ability to read the crowd and deliver seamless, high-energy sets. Rather than relying on fixed playlists, he treats each performance as a real-time interaction—blending genres with precision while maintaining a strong, consistent groove.
In 2013, he won the top prize at the official DJ contest for Fast & Furious: EURO MISSION, leading to a featured performance at “WILD SPEED EURO NIGHT.” He has also released multiple official mix CDs, showcasing his strength as both a performer and curator.
With over a decade of experience, DJ BAO continues to expand globally through live performances and platforms like Mixcloud.
