This winter was certainly epic in Canada, and in the Lower Mainland, it was a “December to Remember". Headlines like “here we snow again” or “snow way” accompanied local news reports, and in the Vancouver area, we endured 3 months of snow — something we rarely see here! With that in mind, our show this week is devoted to weather events in a program we call “Episode 147 / Couldn’t Stand the Weather”. Yes, the much laminated Stevie Ray Vaughan starts us off with a song with the same title, and the rest of the program deals with storms, rain, thunder, sunshine… and no mention of snow at all! Not a bit, because we’ve had it up to here (and not very often). As the Beatles encouragingly told us, “Here Comes The Sun” (thanks, George)!
