Tonight we bring you original versions of songs recorded by the Rolling Stones. Back in their early days, before Keith and Mick decided to write their own songs, the Stones recorded an abundance of assorted cover tunes -- primarily blues shouters first performed by Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, but also plenty of rhythm & blues oldies that now fall under the category of "soul". Although you'll be more familiar with the Rolling Stones' interpretations of these songs, chances are you'll still enjoy (and even sing along with) the original versions. By the way, did you know that the very first big hit for the Stones was actually a Buddy Holly song? (Not Fade Away), and that the Beatles wrote a song for Mick and Keith, too? (I Wanna Be Your Man). Stoned!
