Episode 83 / Original versions of songs recorded by Elvis

It’s here: By request, the original versions of several of the tunes that Elvis sang on record! Since Elvis Presley didn’t write very many of his own songs, the majority of The King's recorded output were covers, numbering nearly 700 tracks in all. With that in mind, and due to Elvis's massive catalogue of music, we’re obviously not going to cover all of them in tonight’s program. In addition, missing in action will be songs that were already featured on previous episodes of The Captain Maniac Show (“Polk Salad Annie” fits in that category). However, we’ve compiled what we feel is “the best of the rest”, so wranglers, let’s git ta wranglin’! And hands up those of you who can identify the Elvis movie where that line was spoken!
