A while back, we did a show about California, so this week's Captain Maniac Show goes across the continent to the other USA coast and features songs about Noo Yawk (as the Ramones called it). There have been numerous songs written about the Big Apple, so as is our custom, Episode 422 is by necessity comprised of just a small sample: totally Captain Maniac's Choice! By the way, the title, "New York Groove" was indeed a track from Ace Frehley's 1978 solo album (his version is included in tonight's show), but as most KISS fans will remind us, the original was written by Russ Ballard and first released in 1975 by a band known as Hello. A bit of rock trivia there! Let's Boogaloo Down Broadway.. Poster: https://captainmaniacgraphics.files.wordpress.com/2022/06/colinepisode422_new-york-groove.jpg
