Time for another journey into the past -- set the Wayback Machine for 1964! Here's the ninth volume in our British Invasion series, with choice tracks from a shagadelic era, starting off with The Who (as well as their previous incarnation, the High Numbers), including not-often-heard material from our usual suspects: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Pretty Things, The Kinks, Manfred Mann, Freddie and The Dreamers, and other favourites of mine from that point in musical history. In addition, we bring you rarities and collectors' items along with a few hits that somehow were smuggled in (The Hollies' Pay You Back With Interest, Billy J. Kramer's I'll Keep You Satisfied, and Eric Burdon's Help Me Girl). We end off the show with another Who song, although in this instance it's the Merseys' version (they had changed their name from The Merseybeats) -- So Sad About Us!
