Metal nostalgia? Is such a thing possible? Well, it certainly IS on the Captain Maniac Show! We welcome hair farmers from all over the world to two hours of metal mayhem on the first of a continuing series entitled “Metal Shop”. This week we’ll be rocking with 80s metal mania (including The New Wave of British Heavy Metal), but further shows will include more current heavy metal thunder as well as some choice flashbacks. For now, though, settle back with your favourite adult beverage and reminisce with the soothing sounds of Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Mötorhead, Iron Maiden – and even a heavy metal tune from Jimi Hendrix! “Rainbow, Strobo, they’re all going under the thunder of Manitoba…”
