Our last show devoted to Blues was many moons ago, so to rectify that situation, we present A Return To The Blues, a show mainly comprised of icons skillfully playing that kind of music. In tonight's episode, our aim is to bring you an evening of blues classics, and we appear to have accomplished that objective with The Three Kings (BB, Albert and Freddie), Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Otis Rush, John Lee Hooker, etc., rather than current practitioners of this craft, who will be appearing in an upcoming Captain Maniac Show. We've even included a short segment entitled Ladies Sing The Blues, with the likes of Etta James and Big Maybelle (Big Mama Thornton's early version of Hound Dog can be found way back in Episode 83 of The Captain Maniac Show, "Original Versions of Songs Recorded By Elvis). The Blues Is Alright!
