The primary focus of last week’s installment was songs about tears and crying, so for Episode 302 / Stop Look and Laugh, we do a 180 and concentrate on songs about laughing! Our obvious choice for the first song is “Laugh Laugh”, a tune that was the debut single in 1964 for a San Francisco group known as the Beau Brummels. (They appeared on a 1965 episode of The Flintstones in which the band gave an animated performance as the Beau Brummelstones!) To quote the late Sonny Bono, “Laugh At Me”! By the way, the show title is lifted from an epic Three Stooges movie of the same name from 1960.
