Although this episode is titled “B-Sides”, it occurs to us that many people acquainted with music streaming and MP3s will have absolutely no idea of the concept of b-sides, or even 45’s for that matter. Without going into an involved history lesson, suffice to say that b-sides were “the other side” of a 45 rpm record, and were often (although not always) just as good as the “a-side”. In this week’s installment of The Captain Maniac Show, each tune is the flip side/b-side of a familiar hit single, with some definite surprises.
