Thanks go out to Johnny Switchblade, who wondered if we’d ever done a show where the theme is “angels” -- either the band/artist has Angel in their name or songs have the word Angel in the title. Well, here it is, finally, and of course we start off with the Australian band The Angels (who had to change their name to Angel City in North America to avoid legal problems with the Casablanca Records band known as Angel). Lots of “angel” tunes are included on tonight’s show from Roy Orbison to Jimi Hendrix, and who among us can identify the artist who contributes additional verses to Mark Dinning’s “Teen Angel”?
