“Theme time radio” lives (thanks, Bob)! In this episode of The Captain Maniac Show, every song just happens to have the phrase “good time” in the title, so what better way to start off the show than with a Kinks cover as done by Van Halen — that’s right, “Where Have All The Good Times Gone”, which coincidentally is the title of Episode 287. In a program where this is the premise, we bring you songs from a multitude of different genres, from Led Zeppelin to Louis Jordan, from Ray Price to the Monkees (who contribute “I Was There (And I'm Told I Had a Good Time)”! We’ve even gone out of our way to unearth a vintage track from Sparkling Apple (“Good Time Girl”) as well as a tune from Roy Orbison, epic film “The Fastest Guitar Alive”.
