Back in Episode 256, we did a show called Destination Moon, where every song had the word “moon” in the title. Theme Time Radio returns once again — in tonight’s show, every song has the word “sun” in the title! Naturally, instances of Sunset, Sunglasses, Sunday and Sunshine are definitely allowed, for the mere fact that it’s my show and I can do what the hell I want. For the most part, however, tunes featuring the word “sun” are first and foremost, like California Sun, Holidays in the Sun, Black Hole Sun and even Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying! And rather than include the Animals’ version of House Of The Rising Sun, we have instead opted to go with the fuzz-heavy Frijid Pink interpretation!
