We are now in our fifth year of the Captain Maniac Show — that’s right, we started uploading to Mixcloud in May of 2014, so we present the first episode of Year Five!
The idea for this week’s installment comes from a meme that Pink Floyd Lady posted on Facebook, in which we were asked to name songs with the word “don’t” in the title. Sounds like a great idea for a radio show, so here’s Part One of our shows devoted to “Don’t” tunes! Don't It Make Ya Feel Like Dancing… (Part Two available soon)
And yes, we are well aware that "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya" by New England somehow got lost in the translation, so to speak. There's a vacant space between "No You Don't" by Sweet and "You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise" by Judas Priest, which is where the New England tune would have appeared if I'd remembered to turn up the volume on that track!
