We had a request from Doug Grant, who suggested we do a show where each song starts off with such an instantly-recognizable drum beat that the listener immediately knows in seconds what the tune is going to be! So here it is, in a show we call “The Beat Goes On”. To be sure, there are a multitude of songs that fit in this category, which is why next week’s Captain Maniac Show is titled “The Beat Goes On Part Two”, featuring more of those kind of songs where the opening drumbeat instantly identifies the song.
