It’s been over a year since we presented tunes from the British Invasion, so it’s time to remedy that toot sweet! In this episode you’ll definitely find some familiar favourites from my formative years (for instance, with songs performed by a particular moptop boy band from Liverpool), but this time out we also bring you some seldom heard British Invasion rarities — when was the last time you heard Kingsize Taylor or Rory Storm and The Hurricanes?. Because it was recently the anniversary of Keith Moon’s unfortunate demise, we start off the show with a twofer from The Who — their demented version of Wipe Out, complete with Moonie going completely apesh*t!
