This week’s edition of the Captain Maniac Show presents a selection of songs that reference jail, prison, The Big House, the brig, the clink, the hoosegow, the joint, the pen, the pokie, the slammer in Episode 198 / Lock Him Up! In other words, tunes with a definite incarceration theme. We start off with the number you’d expect, namely Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy, However, the song that follows is the ZZ Top version of Jailhouse Rock -- rather than present the often-played Elvis Presley take, and despite the fact that Elvis is on our show artwork, unfortunately Elvis is nowhere to be found in this installment.
