Boogie No More. It’s our annual tribute to some of the musicians who left us in 2017. The list this year is particularly poignant, from Gord Downie to Tom Petty, from Malcolm Young to Glen Campbell, and a host of other icons who have ceased to be. In most cases some of our old friends have moved on due to old age or life by misadventure, but others succumbed to a vile disease, and still others chose to take their own life. In any case, 2017’s file of departed musicians is absolutely staggering, so we have chosen to bring you a sample collection of some of their finest works. No one gets out of here alive, as Jim Morrison reminded us, so enjoy the tunes. Hell’s Bells!
