We return to those good old British Blues, Volume Ten, with a heapin’ helpin’ of music that changed my life forever! Undoubtedly, there are tracks here where respectful 60s British musicians go overboard in their attempts to sound as close as possible to the originals in their reverential treatment of the blues catalog — but we’ve also included blues-rock impressions that are performed with the aid of Marshall stacks and are heavy on the loudness factor! We start off tonight’s show with The Who’s take on “Daddy Rolling Stone”, followed by (who else) the Rolling Stones from when they were still a fervent and devoted blues band. in the words of the Bonzo Dog Band, “Can Blue Men Sing the Whites?”!
