From the West Coast of Canada, it’s Episode 164 of The Captain Maniac Show! It was indeed an unfortunate coincidence that last week’s installment was titled “Let Me Stand Next To Your Fire”, because as of this writing (July 9, 2017) the province of British Columbia is under a state of emergency due to the widespread forest fires. Some interior towns are under evacuation notice, and it’s a miserable predicament!
For the rest of us, though, it’s “business as usual”, so we therefore present a theme show devoted entirely to trains! A show with a Loco Motive! Every song has something to do with rail travel, so we get off to a roaring start with Joey Shithead from DOA, who pops in to introduce the show. Staying topical, we also include a NORAD warning about a North Korean nuclear missile launch, only we must stress that this is entirely fictional, OK? Anyway, on with the show — all aboard!
