Of course, we’re talking about the Swinging Sixties here (of which I was a willing participant, being a legal teenager and all), so naturally we begin this week’s show with music from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and The Yardbirds, soon followed by unearthed & exhumed tracks from The Hollies, Ian & the Zodiacs, and The Pretty Things. In addition, we bring you a cover of a cover — The Nashville Teens (yes, the Tobacco Road guys) do their version of “All Along the Watchtower”, and the complete take of “Call Up the Groups” by the Barron Knights. “I don’t listen to The Animals very often, but when I do, so do the neighbors!”…
